This will be just a short note to tell you that there will not be any homework tonight (the Fall Parent-Teacher conferences will conclude tonight), and tomorrow night is the beginning of the Thanksgiving Break. We all get so busy with family and friends at this time of year that we don't need other things to think about! I did want to let you know that my Dad's procedure went well on Friday. My sister is with him this week, and he should be up and mobile after that. Mrs. Morgan's note said that the kids were good for her on Friday. Thank you, Children!
When the children return to school after the Thanksgiving Break, they will not meet in Reading Groups for the week so I can try to get my individual Reading assessments completed. They will bring a text home each evening (M-Th), but it will be an unfamiliar "first read" for them. There will not be any sight words or fluency sentences during that week, since we will have no time to work on them in class.
Have a wonderful time with family, and don't get lost in the shops on "BLACK FRIDAY"!!
